When you're logged as a member on ROMANTIKA.HR, in the heading of the page on the right side there is a link that says "My profile" or a little picture of the profile. By clicking on it you are coming to a page where you can view or arrange / change your profile. By clicking on the big picture or a link that says "Profile pictures" which is located above the profile information, you are coming to a page in which you can add pictures to your profile. As you set more pictures, it is likely that somebody will notice you, so...

As a registered member of ROMANTIKA.HR you are allowed to view profiles of other members, view photos, videos, listen to music, rate every viewed and listened contencts and profiles, coversations and communications with other members, making your own blog, and a lot of other possibilities. Therefore, if you are not registered by now, do it now and here.

1. Start slow

First begin your communication through Romantika.hr, where you have a posibility exchanging private messages (with a photography!) and chat: that is enough for a first contact. Have in mind that the person from the other side could not be who she claims to be. Trust your instincts; if you doubt in person which you are communicating to your doubt is probably well based. Remember, commn sense is, like in the real world, best tool that will keep you safe and happy.

2. Protect your privacy

Have in mind that the safety of your privacy has to be on the first place. Information from which your identity may be known (surname, official e-mail adress, adress) do not publish on your profile, listings, photos and other contents which are available to everyone. Think about stopping communications with persons who insist on revealing such data.

3. Uključite zdrav razum

With smart thinking you will be able to create more successfull contacts. Have standard trust and distrust and say them clearly. You have rights to demand that your trust is gained from your source one step at a time with consistent and honest behavior. Don't get intimate too soon with your source, even if it is a source you are communicating over the Internet. If you have doubt that your source is not being honest, you are probably right.

4. Ask questions

Romantika.hr does not require personal information from its members. Although, we encourage our members to independently explore persons in which they are interested. Ask questions, demand answers and then use the Internet search (www.google.com) for checking. Turn on your common sense, it refuses all ill-wishers.

5. Demand a photo

A photography is a good way to rate how serious someone is. Ask several photos in different environments, so you can be convinced that the person you are communicating with has nothing to hide. Be prepared to send your own photography if someone who do you like asks for it. We repeat, protect your face on your photos but leave the evidence of authentication (piece of paper with a personal note or a written user name).

6. Talk over the phone

A conversation over the phone is a good way to learn more about the person with who you are communicating. If you decide to give your telephone number to the source, give your mobile phone number. You call first; use a option to hide the callers number.

7. Something is wrong

Devote attention to outbursts of anger, frustration or attempts to pressure. Be careful to notice some typical indicators that something is wrong:

• Inconsistent information about age, interests, financial status, place of residence, profession, employment, etc.
• Rejecting the established phone contact after more intimate contact over the Internet
• Rejecting direct answers to direct questions
• Disclosure of personal information so that they are accessible to all users (forum, profile, listings, chat...)
• Extremely provocative photos in which identity is not protected
• Photos of professional quality
• Owning just one photo

8. Live meeting

Secure your own trasportation, meet on a neutral ground, on a public place in time when it has many people. Avoid alcohol and drogs during your first meeting because they can lower or change your judgement.

9. Be careful but enjoy

On the Internet, like in the real world, you can meet anyone. If you plan to enjoy your meetings over the Internet, remember these words: common sense, attention and honesty.
